Salad Inspiration
For me, inspiration comes from the most random things sometimes. Last week, sitting in a restaurant I frequent, munching on my salad, it finally struck me that I have been unwittingly staring at inspiration and ignoring it.
The Menu
My eyes have wandered over the decor on the wall a million times, and I never tire of looking at it. In fact, I look forward to staring at that wall. I purposely sit in a location so I can enjoy the visual feast on the wall every time I eat there. Recognizing the sparks of inspiration, I began to look around at the typography, the colors, and the general design of the room. Small sketches started to form in my head, ideas began to bubble up, and I began to squirm in my seat ready to get started.
This week a salad joint became my muse.
